How I do my eyeliner
March 22, 2013Okay my eyes still have super creepy veins showing up like my last makeup tutorial (here), but we will just ignore it and move on. I had a few people say that my eyeliner looked really good, I don't think it looks all that good but I will show you how I do it anyways! I use a very common technique so you may have seen other people do it, but if not I am glad to introduce you to it! :)
First off I will tell you that I prefer to use gel liner, but honestly any kind works with this... probably even eyeshadow, if that is what you like to do! I first draw a thin line starting at the middle of my eye and working my way outwards. Then I will slightly thicken the line as I go, by my choice I don't go too far into the inner corner because I don't think it looks good on my eyes.
As you can see here I have added a wing to my eyeliner by lining up the brush with my lower lash line. This helps to keep the wings looking even on both eyes, unless you have a bit of a lazy eye like me then things get a bit more difficult. If that is the case, make that eye slightly thicker to give the illusion of a smaller eyelid.
Now just connect the lines and vua-la you are done! My lower lash line in this picture is a little bit messy because I thought it would be a good idea to add a bit of eyeliner down there but I ended up not liking it and tried to get rid of it and ended up smudging it.
I hope this helped you, and if I didn't cover everything please ask me questions in the comments and I will be sure to reply! :)

aw thanks!
DeleteI love how you do your eyeliner! I don't really wear eyeline because it goes all wobbly or too thick. But yours is lovely! And winged eyeliner looks really nice on you x
