Current Trend Obsession: Rose Embroidery
February 16, 2017
Loose top, 46 CAD / Lovers Friends floral top, 170 CAD / Topshop Maternity Rose Embroidered Mom Jeans, 96 CAD / Steve Madden black ankle boots, 170 CAD
So if you have any sort of social media you have probably seen this trend at least once, because essentially it is just a fabric rose that can be thrown onto any fashion item.
As much as I love the look of this trend, I actually don't own any items of clothing or accessories that look like this. (Hold on, I lied. I ordered a hoodie from AliExpress but it has yet to arrive. So technically I still don't own any) Now I could go on a online shopping spree which I usually never turn down (I have a problem, I know) but I got to thinking that this would be a suuuuper easy DIY! Jeans with the rose embroidery down the sides of the pant leg are probably my favourite piece for this trend (I guess the jeans I chose to spotlight are maternity pants from top shop so even new mommies can join in on the trend!) and pants would end up being the easiest to make, all I will need to do is buy some thrifted mom jeans and the embroidered rose patches. I am not sure where I could by the patches locally, so I will probably have to order some online. So I still get to do a little online shopping tonight :)

Okay, so away I go to buy the roses, expect a DIY post up within the next month or so!!! ... Hopefully they don't take too long to ship :(

This trend is stunning! I don't personally own anything like this at the moment but my partner does embroidery and stuff so may have to get him to personalise some of the bits I already own!

I've been loving the rose embroidery trend so much lately. I'm hoping to find something like that to wear for Vancouver Fashion Week next month!

This reminds me SO much of a dress Halle Berry wore to the Oscars a million years ago! It had this beautiful rose/floral embellishment, at least from what I can remember it was beautiful!

I love this ! I am dying to get something with this rose print. Strange as it is, I've seen this print on a blush pink and it actually looks amazing as well :) Lovely post !!
